INSURANCE group RSA has appointed Richard Houghton as its group chief financial officer.
Former Aspen Insurance CFO Houghton will replace George Culmer in June. Culmer is to join Lloyds Banking Group as a replacement for Tim Tookey.
Houghton previously worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as COO and group finance director for RBS Insurance. Prior to that, he was FD of Ulster Bank, an RBS subsidiary.
RSA chief executive Simon Lee said: “Richard has a proven track record as a group CFO, combining extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, solid technical expertise and an externally focused approach.
