BRUCE VAN SAUN has joined insurance group Direct Line as a non-executive director.
Van Saun, group finance director of Royal Bank of Scotland, was appointed with effect from 27 April 2012.
A Wall Street veteran, Van Saun joined RBS in October 2009 having spent just over a year advising private equity and before that, 11 years with the Bank of New York Mellon where he had served in several posts, finishing as CFO and vice chairman.
Van Saun will be delivering a keynote speech at this year’s Financial Director Summit, held on 14 June in central London.
