THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER of Domino’s Pizza Group has joined Mothercare as a non-executive director and audit chair elect.
Lee Ginsberg, Domino’s CFO for the past seven years, joins the board with effect from 2 July 2012, with his appointment subject to ratification by shareholders.
Ginsberg will add some much needed financial weight to Mothercare’s board after the resignation of finance director Neil Harrington in April.
The retailer previously announced that it plans to close 111 stores in the UK over the next three years.
“Lee’s extensive experience as the finance director of a number of public companies, as well as his consumer and brand experience and particularly his franchising knowledge at Domino’s, will be a real asset to Mothercare as we deliver our transformation and growth plan,” said Alan Parker, chairman of Mothercare.
