Whitbread poaches Premier Farnell CFO

Premier Farnell's chief financial officer Nicholas Cadbury defects to Whitbread

HOTEL AND COFFEE SHOP OWNER Whitbread has appointed Nicholas Cadbury, Premier Farnell’s chief financial officer, as its new group finance director.

Cadbury replaces Whitbread’s experienced FD Christopher Rogers, who is becoming managing director of the group’s Costa Coffee business.

Prior to his stint at Premier Farnell, which he joined in 2011, was at Dixons Retail in a variety of management roles, including chief financial officer from 2008 – 2011.

Premier Farnell has named Mark Whiteling as Cadbury’s successor. Whiteling re-joins the company, having previously spent five years as chief financial officer in the period to August 2011.

Whiteling will have an expanded role that will include responsibility for Premier’s IT function, the company said.
