THE FINANCE DIRECTOR of FTSE 250 soft drinks group Britvic has left the business to join Walker Greenbank, the AIM-listed furnishings supplier.
Mike Gant, who served as finance director of Britvic’s GB and international business units, will become Walker Greenbank’s chief financial officer on 3 March 2014 and also join the company’s board.
After a number of financial roles in the leisure sector, Gant joined the food manufacturer Geest in 2000 as divisional finance director before becoming group financial controller. In 2004, he joined Constellation Brands, the global drinks group, where he worked in a number of financial and commercial development roles prior to joining Britvic in 2009.
He replaces Alan Dix, who has held the position of group finance director for the past nine years, will leave the company at the end of April after completing a handover period.
