Williams to lead Palletower's drive to enhance finance

JULIA WILLIAMS has taken on her first finance director role, at storage and distribution business Palletower.

Williams, who has served as international finance controller with Umbro International during her six years with the business, joins Palletower at an important time.

The Sale-based business is implementing a new ERP system, and reviewing systems and processes to better integrate the finance function into its global commercial strategy.

Matthew Palmer, who led an MBO of the business in 2012, said Williams’ appointment was vital to driving the business forward.

“Julia’s appointment forms an integral part of a strategy to grow the business significantly over the next five years,” said Palmer.
