RETAIL PROPERTY INVESTOR London & Associated Properties (LAP) has made Anil Thapar its FD following the retirement of previous finance chief Robert Corry.
Thapar will assume the post on 1 January 2015 having served as financial controller since 2005 and managing the finance department since 2007.
Prior to LAP, Thapar held senior finance positions at Tops Estates from 1998 until the company was sold in 2005, and has held other senior jobs both in industry and accountancy.
He will also become group company secretary on 22 December 2014, with present incumbent Heather Curtis be leaving the company on the same date.
LAP CEO John Heller said: “I have worked closely with Anil for a long time. He has shown an excellent understanding of all financial aspects of the group and contributed greatly to our progress over the last nine years or so. I have no doubt that he will make an excellent FD, and look forward to working with him in his new role”.
