CFO to leave retailer N Brown

Dean Moore to leave N Brown after 11 years, with General Healthcare Group CFO Craig Lovelace taking his place

RETAILER N BROWN has announced its CFO Dean Moore is to leave the business after 11 years in order to “pursue other interests”.

Moore was previously group FD at T&S Stores, and Graham Group prior to that. He has also held various roles with Lloyds Chemist, Sketchley, Blue Circle Industries having originally qualified with Grant Thornton.

He is to be replaced by Craig Lovelace, who is expected to assume the role in the new financial year, when his “existing contractual obligations are completed”. Lovelace is currently group CFO for General Healthcare Group, trading as BMI Healthcare.

N Brown chief executive Angela Spindler said: “Dean has given excellent and long service to N Brown. In particular, he has been a great support to me over the last 18 months, providing important continuity through the leadership transition.

“The business change programme is progressing well, our performance is in line with our expectations and now feels like a good time, for all concerned, to make this important change. Dean has made a significant contribution to the past and future success of the business and I would personally like to acknowledge and thank him.”
