Former Schroders CFO steps up to Standard Life audit chair

Kevin Parry takes the audit committee chairman role, with fellow finance expert David Grigson stepping down

ONE senior finance chief has moved aside at Standard Life with another taking his place as audit committee chairman.

Kevin Parry, former Schroders CFO, steps up to the audit committee chairman role at Standard Life with David Grigson stepping down.

Grigson, the former finance head at both Reuters and Emap, will step down from the role in May, after six years as a non-executive at the insurer.

Parry, who joined Standard Life’s board in October 2014, served as Schroders’ CFO for three years to 2012. The former KPMG partner also served as chief executive of Management Consulting Group, from 2000 to 2008.

Standard Life’s board is not bereft of financial talent, with chief executive David Nish a former group FD, at Scottish Power. Its CFO Luke Savage is former chairman of the Hundred Group of Finance Directors, while Isabel Hudons is a former CFO of Eureko.
