ENTU, the home improvements group that sells energy-efficient products such as solar panels and smart boilers has appointed Geoff Stevens as chief financial officer.

Effective immediately, Stevens has wide experience as CFO in a number of listed and private-equity backed companies, most recently at the John Brown Media Group and Protocol Group.

His first foray into the group finance director role was with home care provider Goldsborough Healthcare, before taking up the finance director role at ISA International and Healthcare Group. He began his career at Coopers and Lybrand, where he became a general practice partner.

Darren Cornwall will remain on the executive board as corporate development director, focussing on “furthering the group acquisition strategy and the critical area of the integration of acquired businesses”.

David Forbes, Entu chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Geoff as group CFO. His experience of customer service businesses, especially in the public company sphere, will be very valuable as we continue the growth of the group. I look forward to working with Geoff, and also to continue working with Darren Cornwall. Darren was pivotal in the successful IPO of Entu, and will continue to pursue his important strategic role of seeking out and integrating suitable acquisitions.”

Entu’s group finance director, Phil Dunning, was named  one of Financial Director’s 35 under 35 last month.
