Sphere Medical appoints new CFO
Richard Wright joins medical technology company from Alliance Pharma
UK medical technology company Sphere Medical has appointed Richard Wright as chief financial officer with effect from 10 August.
Wright joins from the AIM-listed pharmaceutical company Alliance Pharma where he worked as finance director for eight years.
He replaces Matthew Hall, who gave notice of his decision to leave on in June to pursue other business interests.
Dr. Wolfgang Rencken, CEO of Sphere, said: “Richard’s track record of managing Alliance Pharma through a strong commercial growth phase, as well as his extensive experience in negotiating and implementing numerous commercial deals, will strengthen our executive management team as we continue with the commercialisation of Proxima.”
