NIGEL STEIN, the boss of FTSE 100 engineering group GKN and its former finance director, has joined the board of Inchcape as a non-executive director.
Stein, who served as GKN’s group finance director before becoming chief executive in January 2012, will join the automotive group’s audit committee upon appointment.
Prior to GKN, Stein held senior financial positions with Laird Group and Hestair Duple. He is a member of the ICAS and former non-executive drector of Wolseley.
GKN chairman Ken Hanna said: “We are delighted that Nigel has agreed to join the group as a non-executive director. His global automotive experience will be of great benefit to us and I welcome Nigel to the board.”
