THE GROUP responsible for producing a number of Dispatches and Panorama shows has appointed a new CFO.
Experienced finance chief David Galan is to join Ten Alps from the new year. Galan, who has served as CFO of Picklive and in an interim finance role at Casual Dining Group (CDG), will take over from outgoing CFO Nitil Patel following a handover process. At CDG he managed its integration of its Las Iguanas and La Tasca acquisitions.
Ten Alps’ Blakeway Productions business produced Channel 4’s Dispatches programme on Sports Direct, and a Panorama programme on Islam in the UK.
The group has halved its loss before tax for the y/e 30 June 2015, to £1.32m. Its revenues fell to £20.47m from £29.45m. The group saw growth across its divisions in the second half of the financial year. In July it raised £4.5m in new equity and acquired Reef TV, a programme production business.
