DIXONS CARPHONE’S CFO has extended his reach with a major non-executive appointment.
Humphrey Singer, who has held the Dixons Carphone role since 2014 following the merger of Dixons and Carphone Warehouse, takes a non-exec position at Taylor Wimpey.
His experience in both digital and customer services will bolster the housebuilder’s board expertise, as will Singer’s financial “acumen”, said Taylor Wimpey chairman Kevin Beeston.
He joins Taylor Wimpey’s audit and nomination committees.
Singer was named FTSE 100 FD of the Year in Financial Director’s Business Finance Awards 2015. He served in a number of operational roles with Coca-Cola before joining Dixons.
