It's all change as Style Holdings come to market once more

Now you see them, now you don’t. SWJ, that is, a little-known company destined to be even more unheard of, since it has changed its name to Style Holdings. But change is permanent for this menswear company which seems to have a love-hate relationship with the stockmarket.

The company first joined the unlisted securities market in 1984, when it was known as the Gee/Rosen Organisation. In 1987 it was taken over by Blacks Leisure. Three years later the business was bought back by the owners, who coined the catchy name SWJ. And now here they go again to become a public company some time next year. That will make five different forms of ownership in 13 years.

Fast moving, certainly.
