Appointment at United Distillersand Vintners.
Phil Yea has quit his £382,000 a year job as FD at Diageo after ruling himself out of the running for the chief exec position at the company. He is currently looking for a top role elsewhere. Meanwhile, Phil Bentley, director of group treasury and risk management at Diageo, has been made finance director at United Distillers and Vintners. Bentley takes up his appointment in July and replaces Nick Rose, who has been appointed FD and board member at Diageo.
