Jackie Hunt leaves Standard Life for top job at Prudential UK

Standard Life CFO leaves to become CEO of Prudential UK & Europe

STANDARD LIFE CFO Jackie Hunt is stepping down from the role to take a CEO role at Prudential UK.

The listed insurer announced today that Hunt has resigned “with immediate effect” as CFO of Standard Life to take up the role of CEO at Prudential UK & Europe.

Hunt joined the company in 2009 as deputy CFO taking on the CFO role in 2010. Prior to Standard Life she was CFO of Norwhich Union Insurance, a subsidiary of insurance group Aviva. Hunt has had financial roles at Deloitte, PwC and Royal & SunAlliance.

Standard Life is currently searching for a replacement.

David Nish, CEO, said: ‘I’d like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Board, to thank Jackie for her commitment and the contribution that she has made to the business during the last four years. I wish her well in her first CEO role’.
