Ex-Selfridges FD to boost Boohoo.com's IPO
Experienced retail executive Peter Williams set to chair Boohoo.com
FORMER Selfridges finance director and chief executive Peter Williams is to chair online retailer Boohoo.com, as it prepares for an IPO.
Williams is one of the UK’s most experienced retail executives, having previously served as a director at ASOS for eight years. He has held a number of non-exec roles in recent times, including positions at Rightmove, Cineworld, Sportech, Blacks Leisure and JJB Sports.
Boohoo is set to to announce flotation plans next month, according to reports, with suggestions that it could be valued at £500m. Other ASOS executives are attractive to online retailers, following its rare success in the field.
